Uncanny was ready to slow down her riding and competition career, shifting gears to non-mounted work with children and adults...

Previously a pony club eventing horse, Uncanny came to Project Horse to help supplement our first summer of leadership camps. She is warm, confident and caring, and connects with people young and old on a very deep level. She has a multitude of friends – both human and equine – and is loved by all.

Uncanny brings an amazing amount of cuddly wisdom to the Project Horse team. Her patience and loving manner is so restorative to those that are struggling, or those just in need of a hug. The most mature member of our herd, Uncanny brings unbridled joy to all that meet her.

Uncanny is an Appendix Quarter Horse (meaning she is a Quarter Horse/Thoroughbred cross), and we think she was born in 1990. Uncanny's birthday is May 4.
